Some issues concerning your research stay can already be dealt with before your arrival. We hope the following checklist will help you to prepare your stay in Krakow as well as possible while you are still in your country of origin. Click here to download it.
BEFORE ARRVIAL – CHECK LIST:
- Register with the AGH University application form
- Make sure your passport is valid for the entire duration of your stay in Poland
- If you need an entry visa, you should apply for it as early as possible. You should obtain the relevant information in sufficient time from the Polish embassy in your country
- Several biometric photos are required (4 colour biometric photos, 35mm x 45mm)
- To simplify your life in Krakow, it is useful to take along officially authenticated copies of your most important documents and certificates including all important medical documents, if possible translated into Polish
- It is required to take out health insurance – see “Insurance” section
- For accommodation, see “Accommodation” section
- Please apply for an international driver’s license if you want to drive in Poland
- If your family is joining you and you need a place in a kindergarten or school, you will find useful information in the section “Family and childcare”.
