Where to buy tickets?

Transport tickets can be purchased in many different ways and places:

  1. via various apps, such as JakDojadę, SkyCash, moBILET etc. – it is also possible to but transportation tickets via your bank’s app (e.g. Millenium Bank, Santander Bank…)
  2. at ticket machines at bus stops or on buses/tram → in majority of them you can pay by card, but there are still some old machines on the trams that only takes cash , so it is good to have with you couple of coins

There is no difference between tickets for trams and busses in Kraków – you can use the same ticket for both.

We have two types of tickets: full-price (“normalny”) and discounted (“ulgowy”). In general, students are eligible to purchase discounted tickets, if they have a valid student ID with them. Children below 7 years old can travel free of charge, as well as primary school pupils.
