NAWA & Welcome to Poland 2.0

AGH University Centre for International Affairs has been selected as a beneficiary of the Welcome to Poland program for the second time

Our grant application: “Development of AGH University Potential in Comprehensive International Guests Services and Effective International Promotion” has received funding from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the Welcome to Poland Programme.

The aim of the project is to further develop our university’s potential in hosting international students, PhD candidates, and academic staff, as well as effectively promoting our educational offerings internationally, particularly through cooperation with AGH University international graduate students.

As part of this program, we plan to further develop our information and advice centre for international visitors, Welcome Point, and organise and conduct various events and workshops for our international guests on topics such as career development and how to build your own start-up.

We are excited about the opportunity to enhance our expertise in welcoming international quests visiting our University and to give support to our guests in matters such as visa requirements, travel arrangements, job search and accommodation.

The project implementation period is from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2026.

The amount of financial support is: 499 938,36 PLN
