Model of social research university
A great success of the AGH University of Krakow was to gain the status of a research university.
In the ministerial programme ‘Excellence Initiative – Research University’, the winners of the first competition were the 10 best Polish universities.
One of the main goals of the project implemented at AGH University is to internationalise the university and transform it into a modern technical school that will become an attractive place to study and work in a manner comparable to the best European universities.
