The Project has been co-financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange under the Welcome to Poland Programme, agreement number BNP/WTP/2023/1/00147/U/00001. The funding received in the project is 499,938.36 PLN.
The main objectives of the project are:
- Developing the potential of AGH University of Kraków in terms of hosting and serving foreign students, doctoral students, teaching and research staff;
- Effective promotion of AGH University’s offer on the international arena, in particular through cooperation with Japanese graduates of AGH University.
Tasks within the project:
- Intercultural training and workshops – for AGH University students and staff to facilitate understanding and relationship building in a multicultural environment.
- Psychological support – in January, we held the first workshop of this edition, focusing on methods for coping with stress. Additionally, international students, postgraduates, and academics were offered complimentary psychological consultations to help them navigate and adapt to their new environment.
- Information materials – creating an information and promotional spot about AGH University and international cooperation, brochures and online content in English to help newcomers get to know the university, Krakow and Polish culture better.
- Cooperation – Promotion of AGH University on the Japanese market by EXPO in Osakaand inauguration of AGH University Alumni Association in Tokyo, supporting the maintenance of good contacts and international cooperation.

AGH University has been attracting students and staff from all over the world for years, so we want everyone to feel at home here. We believe that an international academic environment is a space to exchange knowledge, experience and grow together
